WTHS Interact Club Advisors Shera Jahn (left) and Kevin MacNamara helped to organize the school’s Festival of Friends day. “This is my favorite event of the year,” said WTHS teacher Shera Jahn, who, along with colleague Kevin MacNamara, serves as co-advisor for the club. The club’s events throughout the year, including this signature event, foster a spirit of service and caring. The day included food, games, a bouncy house, prizes and lots of fun. The annual carnival-like event showcases a day of socializing for adults and kids with disabilities and their families. The sun was shining, and spirits were high as 100 Washington Township High School student volunteers from various clubs welcomed more than 125 attendees at the WTHS Interact Club-sponsored “Festival of Friends” on Saturday, April 30, 2022. ![]()
